I had an amazing time at Big Five Lodge in Kariba, having travelled the world extensively I would highly recommended staying there, the views and sunsets over the lake is incredible and which memories I will cherish for years to come. I would love to visit again in the future to catch another Tigerfish. Arno and Happy were super accommodating and kind hosts and we had everything we could’ve possibly needed. Thank you for everything!

Wow, what a hidden gem in Kariba! I was so surprized with this amazing property. The staff was friendly and helpful. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The beds and linen were fantastic. The air conditioner was a life saver. The cottage was cool and fresh with the air con. The best part is the bar and swimming pool, not to mention the excellent view. The next time I come to Kariba I will come and stay with you again. Really good value for money!

Very nice stay at Arno’s place. Good location and lovely views. Hard to get a sense of the place from the photos but it’s like a little self-contained bungalow /apartment in a compound. There was no one else staying at any of the other properties so far as we could tell, so it was very quiet. Pool was nice (though too cold to swim when we went). Excellent set up – no power cuts, hot water, and friendly staff on site to assist with whatever you need. Overall, a pleasant stay. Thanks, Arno
